Processing Times

If the product is non-personalised, we send it out the same day if ordered before 12am or next day if ordered after.

Processing times vary from product to product as we have to take into account the time to acquire an item from our suppliers and the time taken to personalise/make the finished item.

Please note: if an item becomes delayed in transit, we will notify you as soon as we know to provide as much notice as possible and keep you updated on the progress along the way.

Please ensure the correct email address is on your order, as we may send updates, questions regarding your personalisation request and we cannot receive a response from you, this may cause further delays on your item.

Delivery Policy

All orders are sent using tracked services with Royal Mail or DPD. Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-2 days delivery), DPD Next Day (1-2 days delivery) and Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2-4 days delivery), Royal Mail Guaranteed by 1 pm (1-day delivery) are the options we use to ensure the fastest and safest delivery possible.

If you would like to use an alternative method of delivery, please email info@theproposalbox.co.uk and we will do our best to help.

Please note that we cannot be held liable for delays caused by the courier.

Please ensure your address is correct when purchasing, as we cannot be held accountable for missing orders with the incorrect address information.

If you provide us with an incorrect address or fail to collect your items from any parcel shop, you will be responsible for the cost of resending the parcel to you.

Figuring out arrival dates

PLEASE NOTE: all orders placed 15th-25th August will have an additional one week added to the processing time.

To figure out your latest order arrival date, first check the processing time of your items, which can be found on the listing. Take the longest processing time item and add this time to the delivery times selected:

For example:

A customer ordered personalised robes and personalised fluffy slippers on 01/05/2025. The robes have a processing time of 2-4 weeks, whereas the slippers have a processing time of 2-3 weeks. She has selected Tracked 24 at checkout, so the maximum time taken for her items to arrive will be 4 weeks + 2 days (31/05/2025). Although it is likely to arrive sooner than this.

If you require certain items sooner than others, then please make sure you order these items separately so their individual processing times apply.
